Walking together, opening roads to life for Gaza.
Questions - Answers
Is MarchToGaza a political movement?
No. MarchToGaza is a civic, apolitical, and independent movement.
We do not represent any political party, ideology, or religion.
We represent the people, in all their diversity and humanism.
Our only guiding principles are justice, human dignity, and peace.
Is your goal to forcibly enter Gaza?
Absolutely not.
We have always been clear: March To Gaza is a peaceful movement.
We will not force any barrier, any border.
We aim to negotiate the opening of the Rafah terminal with the Egyptian authorities, in collaboration with NGOs, diplomats, and humanitarian institutions.
Why go all the way to the Gaza border?
Because no one is acting proportionately to the tragedy.
Gaza is starving, crushed, isolated.
This is not just about symbolic support.
We want to deliver humanitarian aid with a strong civilian presence to create international moral and media pressure.
If states fail, then the people must step in.
Why not simply send money to an NGO?
NGOs are doing admirable work, but they are currently blocked.
Aid is piling up at the border and cannot enter.
Our action aims to unblock this passage and secure a permanent humanitarian corridor to guarantee our safety.
It is a complementary, civic, and visible initiative.
Who funds MarchToGaza?
The movement is funded solely by citizen contributions, in a transparent manner. A bailiff’s office will manage all expenses and make all documents available.
We have established a finance team to ensure ethical management of the funds, and we will publish expense reports. No company, no state, no political party finances our action. It is a movement of the people, by the people.
What if you are stopped or turned back at the border?
We are taking all necessary legal and diplomatic precautions.
A legal team with international law attorneys is mobilized to anticipate all scenarios.
But our strength lies in our visibility and negotiations with embassies: if thousands of peaceful citizens are turned back or arrested,
the entire world will know. This would create unprecedented pressure and severely damage the country’s image.
How long do you plan to stay on site?
We are planning a short stay, 5 to 7 days maximum,
depending on authorizations from the Egyptian government.
We are not planning to camp at the border.
We want to deliver the aid, carry a strong message, respect Egypt’s rules, and leave with dignity.
Does the movement have an actual structure?
Yes. Unlike many spontaneous movements, MarchToGaza quickly organized itself.
We immediately created an organizational chart, specific roles, and hundreds of people join us every day.
The movement is evolving very rapidly.
We have the following divisions:
– Logistics Division
– Health Division
– Finance Division
– Legal Division
– Communication Division
– Ideas/Proposals Division
– Public Relations Division
Each division is coordinated by competent volunteer members preparing this global project.
Do you have an exact date?
Not yet.
Why? Because it depends on negotiations with authorities and actual mobilization.
Our target is early June 2025.
But until an official opening is confirmed, we cannot set a fixed date.
Is the movement open to everyone?
Yes. Absolutely everyone can participate.
No matter your origin, religion, profession, or country.
